ISLAMABAD: The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) announced on Thursday that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has released $1.2 billion to Pakistan, shortly after the lender’s Executive Board approved the disbursement under the Extended Fund Facility as well as the Resilience and Sustainability Facility (RSF), which focuses on climate-related support.
According to the SBP, the funds have now been credited to Pakistan’s account.
