KARACHI: Three officers of the Motorway Police were killed early Monday morning when their patrol vehicle was struck from behind by a speeding car on the M5 near Uch Sharif.
Initial reports indicate that the patrolling mobile was hit with such force that all three officials died on the spot. The victims have been identified as Sub-Inspector Muhammad Ashfaq, Assistant Sub-Inspector Nasir Abbas, and Constable Usama.
Following the crash, the Sector Commander, the DSP Motorways, and rescue teams immediately arrived at the scene and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital.
