LAHORE: Acclaimed Showbiz Diva, prominent Pakistani actress Saba Qamar has hinted at a new chapter in her personal life, revealing that she’s experiencing romance and enjoying the sweeter side of life.
In a candid conversation on a recent podcast, the Baaghi star opened up about love, stress, and her evolving approach to acting. Discussing her emotional journey, Saba said that while people often make light of mental health struggles, living through them offers a completely different perspective. “It’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone,” she shared.
The actress also revealed that she suffered a minor heart attack during the filming of a recent drama but has since recovered.
According to her doctors, the episode was triggered not by cholesterol but by stress, underscoring how emotional pressure can take a toll on physical health.
Reflecting on her career, Saba admitted that performing romantic scenes used to feel uncomfortable. “We aren’t taught romance in childhood, so it doesn’t come naturally. Crying scenes were always easier for me — but now, romance feels new, and I’m actually enjoying it,” she said with a smile.
When asked playfully about actor Usman Mukhtar, often dubbed a “lucky star for actresses,” Saba laughed and replied that people should be ready for whatever destiny brings — marriage or otherwise. She added that while love and marriage are beautiful, they require time and emotional space — luxuries her busy schedule rarely allows.
“Even getting eight hours of sleep feels impossible these days,” she joked.
Saba went on to say that marriage, love, and children are all part of divine timing. “Everyone wants love and stability, but these things happen when they’re meant to. No one can rush what’s written in fate,” she said thoughtfully.
