ISLAMABAD: The government has announced a fresh cut in petroleum prices for the upcoming two weeks, effective from midnight, October 16 (Thursday).
As per the official notification, the price of petrol has been brought down by Rs5.66 per litre, now standing at Rs263.20 per litre. Similarly, high-speed diesel has seen a reduction of Rs1.39 per litre, setting the new rate at Rs275.41 per litre.
Kerosene oil will now cost Rs3.26 less per litre, while light diesel oil has also been lowered by Rs2.74 per litre.
These revised prices will remain applicable for the next fortnight.
