JAMMU: A Junior Commissioned Officer of the Indian Army lost his life after tumbling into a steep gorge in the Poonch district of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The accident took place in the Behramgalla area on Friday evening as an army patrol was navigating the rugged Dhok Pattancore terrain.
According to officials, Subedar Sajeesh K slipped during the movement and fell into a deep ravine. He died on the spot due to the severe impact.
