DUBAI: An Indian-made Tejas fighter aircraft went down on Friday during an aerobatic display at the Dubai Airshow 2025, according to Indian media reports.
The jet reportedly crashed while performing high-speed manoeuvres intended to demonstrate its full operational capabilities. Early indications point to a technical malfunction as the likely cause.
Despite signs of a possible fault, the aircraft was cleared to participate in the show, reports added.
Search operations are currently underway to locate the pilot following the crash.
