PESHAWAR: Tribal elders from various regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have pledged full cooperation with security forces to help ensure durable peace across the province.
The commitment was made during a large tribal jirga convened at Fort Bala Hisar in Peshawar, organised by Frontier Corps (FC) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North. Representatives from multiple tribal districts attended the gathering.
Participants held extensive discussions on the prevailing security landscape, emerging threats, and the steps needed to reinforce stability in the region. They agreed on adopting a collective and well-coordinated strategy to maintain long-term peace, particularly in the Khyber district.
Elders reiterated their resolve to work closely with security forces in all areas, stressing that cooperation and unity are essential for lasting stability.
Concluding the jirga, attendees renewed their commitment to national cohesion, trust-building, and joint efforts aimed at safeguarding peace throughout the province.
