India Always Remember Pak Response; President Trump Rescue India: PM Shehbaz

NEW YORK: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated the resolve saying that India attacked Pakistani territory and targeted innocent civilians, “India will always remember Pakistan’s historic response”.

Addressing the session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), the prime minister said that Pakistan had offered India an impartial investigation into the Pahalgam attack, but India rejected the offer and violated Pakistan’s sovereignty.

The premier said that India played a political game and described the Hindutva ideology as a threat to the entire world. Pakistan responded with full force and exercised its right to self-defence. In reply to the aggression, the Pakistan Air Force shot down seven Indian aircraft, he added.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also said that India would never forget that response. He gave a firm reply to India, adding that under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan responded with resolve.

He said that water was a lifeline for 240 million Pakistanis, and that Pakistan would not allow its right to be taken. He warned that any violation of the Indus Waters Treaty would be considered an act of war.

He said that United States President Donald Trump intervened at a critical moment and helped to secure a ceasefire between Pakistan and India. Pakistan nominated President Trump for the Nobel Prize and expressed gratitude to friendly countries for supporting Pakistan during the period of tension.

PM Shehbaz Sharif said that Palestine can no longer remain under Israeli chains and must be freed with full force. He emphasised that the country has lost 90,000 people in the war against terrorism.

He urged for measures to prevent terrorism wherever it occurs. Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the threat posed by foreign-funded terrorists within Pakistan.

The banned TTP, Fitna-ul-Khawarij, BLA, Majid Brigade and Fitna-ul-Hindustan continue their activities, he added. The prime minister vowed to continue the fight until the last terrorist is eliminated.

Addressing the recent floods, PM Shehbaz said that millions were displaced and extensive damage occurred. He called for a climate emergency.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed confidence that Pakistan will be restored as a great nation. He mentioned ongoing work on digital currency and artificial intelligence within the country.

The prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to stand with peace and justice in the world.
