DOHA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned Israeli aggression during his address at the emergency Arab Summit in Doha, expressing full solidarity with Qatar and urging immediate global action to halt Israel’s attacks in Gaza.
The Prime Minister revealed that Israel’s attack on Qatar, a brotherly nation, was an attempt to sabotage peace efforts in the Middle East. He stressed that Pakistan expresses full solidarity with Qatar and the wider Muslim world in rejecting Israeli actions.
Highlighting the humanitarian crisis, Shehbaz Sharif said that “humanity is wailing in Gaza”, where Israel continues its genocidal campaign against Palestinians. He also demanded the Israeli aggression in Gaza stop immediately, urging the international community to act swiftly to stop Israeli aggression and prevent further suffering of innocent civilians.
In his speech, the PM demanded that Israel’s membership in the United Nations be suspended. He further called for the creation of an Arab-Islamic Task Force to hold Israel accountable for crimes against humanity, stressing that unchecked aggression undermines regional peace and global stability.
Shehbaz Sharif said Israel’s actions have dealt a severe blow to ongoing peace efforts in the region, warning that such provocations threaten the fragile prospects of stability in the Middle East.
Before PM Shehbaz, leaders of other Muslim nations also spoke at the event.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkuan said that Israel’s aggression against Qatar was aimed at undermining peace efforts in Gaza. He described the attack on Qatar as an act of terrorism and a blatant violation of all international norms.
